ADABANK continues its activities as an important institution of “Foundation Culture” which has survived until today as a significant component of our culture for many centuries and which has been maintained and conserved by the General Directorate of Foundations.
Established in 1984 as ADABANK, officially embarked on its banking activities in 1985. The ownership rights, management, and supervision of ADABANK were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) on July 25, 2003. The SDIF's 96.6% stake in ADABANK was offered for sale through a competitive tender, initiating the sales process upon the publication of the official announcement in the Official Gazette.
